Firewall Exceptions for Use With Issuetrak's Hosted Service

Connections

IP addresses are only half of the equation for firewall rules. You'll also need to know what ports to open. Besides the basic web ports (80 and 443), you will also need to know what services your site is configured to communicate with in order to determine the other ports that must be opened to the IP addresses in the table above.

You can find details of our network protocols and services HERE.

For the ability to browse and access Issuetrak’s Cloud services, you’ll need to allow standard web browsing to the above IP Address using TCP ports 80 and 443, which will allow the usage of HTTP and HTTPS protocols.

  • HTTP (TCP 80)
  • HTTPS (TCP 443)

Issuetrak has the ability to create and update issues directly from email. To enable this functionality, you’ll need to allow the above IP addresses access to the following ports on your mail environment, in order for Issuetrak to access your configured mailbox and process email.

  • POP3 (TCP 110)
  • POP3 SSL (TCP 995)
  • IMAP (TCP 143)
  • IMAP SSL (TCP 993)
  • Exchange (TCP 443)

Issuetrak’s Cloud service has services to handle outgoing email but if you wish to process that communication through your existing mail environment, you’ll need to allow the above IP Addresses access to the following ports on your mail environment.

  • SMTP (TCP 25)
  • Secure SMTP (TCP 587)

To connect Issuetrak to your Active Directory environment you’ll need to allow the above IP Addresses access to the following ports on your Active Directory server.

  • LDAP (TCP 389)
  • LDAPS (TCP 636)
  • GC SSL (TCP 3269)
  • ADFS (TCP 443)
